In the best of all worlds, meals taste terrific, they’re nutritious and they come with good conversation. We’re very aware that food can be the highlight of the day and so can the conversation that goes with it.

You’ll have a say in the conversation and you’ll have a say in what the menu looks like. Our goal is to have you looking forward to delicious meals every day.

Our dining room is stunning, with hand plastered ceilings, ornate chandeliers and decorative columns that are masterful pieces of work. It’s a beautiful place to come and eat, it’s also home to our private dining room that’s available to you, your family and friends. We’ll work with you to make you the perfect host to a party for your family and friends.

Leisure and Recreation

What’s going to make today great for you? Have some fun and be a part of the wide variety of activities available to you. The Activity Director makes every day interesting with exercise programs, movies, entertainers, card tournaments, socials and happy hours.

Step outside for a walk around our beautiful gardens. Inspiring colours and landscapes are yours to enjoy. Designed and maintained by expert staff and volunteers, there is always something new to see. The planting has been done with precise detailing to keep the gardens exciting throughout the year.

If transportation has been an issue; our van gives you easy access to shopping, swimming, the casino, bowling, the theatre and many other local activities and events.

Health and Wellness

Your health changes over the course of your life; sometimes quickly and sometimes over a longer period of time. We provide for your needs in both situations and we won’t ever ask you to move to access more care or service. We’ll offer as much or as little service and care, as you need over time. Our care staff will be aware of your situation and provide you with the services that you need, when you need them.

For couples we understand that your individual needs may be different. In many retirement settings one spouse may need to move to access additional services. At the Empire we won’t ask one spouse to move to access more care. We will do our utmost to keep couples together providing the individual level of care that each spouse requires.

We also believe that we should arrange for as many services as possible to come to you.
When the services come to you then you never have to arrange transportation. You just walk down the hall to access these services.

Our professional hair stylist will keep you looking good.
Physiotherapy services from assessment to treatment are available on site.

Improving your health is also one of our objectives. Nutritious meals are an important factor and we also make fitness fun in our programming for health and wellness. Our strengthening program focuses on restoring and enhancing your mobility, balance and strength.
